The underside is unglazed and has a bit of a coarse texture. It feels a bit like the foot ring of a regular mug. Heads up for the sensory sensitive (like me)! 🙏
Heads up: The underglaze didn’t quite catch as well on the tail, leaving it a bit blotchy. So, small discount on this baby!
